Actions
Add Group
To add a new Backup Group, click on Add Group:
- Name: Backup Group name
- State: Indicates if the subcloud backup group is enabled or disabled
- System Selectors: System Inventory labels to be matched for this group. The below describes how System Selectors work:
- A subcloud can be tagged to a Backup Group only if all of the Backup Group’s selectors match the subcloud’s labels.
For example:
- If sysinv1 has labels a=a, b=b, c=c and bkgrp1 has selectors a=a, b=b, then sysinv1 will be tagged to bkgrp1.
- If sysinv1 has labels a=a, d=d, c=c and bkgrp1 has selectors a=a, b=b, then sysinv1 will NOT be tagged to bkgrp1.
- Each subcloud can be assigned to only one Backup Group.
- Once a subcloud is assigned to a Backup Group, it cannot be assigned to a new Backup Group. Any attempt to do so will be blocked.
- To resolve this, refine the selectors of the new Backup Group to narrow down the scope of matching subclouds to avoid selecting a subcloud that is already tagged to a Backup Group.
- A subcloud can be tagged to a Backup Group only if all of the Backup Group’s selectors match the subcloud’s labels.
For example:
- Backup Policy ID: The backup policy ID to be used in this group
- Execution Schedule: Execution schedule with Execution Date & Recurrence or Now
