Subcloud Backup Policy

Overview

Review all Backup Policies that have been created under Operations- Subloud Backup:

This shows the backup policies with the following information:

• Name
• Maximum Parallel Backups
• Maximum Retries
• Max Retention
• Backup Location

Search

Search box supports searching groups by Backup Policy Name or Backup Location.

Sort

Column Name supports Sorting for Backup Policies.

Actions

Add Policy

To add a new Backup Policy, click on Add Policy:

• Name: Backup policy name
• Maximum Parallel Backups: Number of parallel subcloud backups which should be a positive integer
• Maximum Retries: Number of times to retry a failed backup which should be a non-negative integer
• Max Retention: Number of backups to retain. Currently Max Retention is fixed at ‘1’ for each WRCP release
• Backup Location: Location of backups. Currently Backup storage location is fixed at /dc-vault on the system controller

Update Policy

To update a Backup Policy, click on Actions - Update Policy:

• Maximum Parallel Backups: Number of parallel subcloud backups which should be a positive integer
• Maximum Retries: Number of times to retry a failed backup which should be a non-negative integer
• Max Retention: Number of backups to retain. Currently Max Retention is fixed at ‘1’ for each WRCP release
• Backup Location: Location of backups. Currently Backup storage location is fixed at /dc-vault on the system controller

Delete Policy

To delete a Backup Policy, click on Actions - Delete Policy.

Settings

• Refresh time interval - The time interval in which the widget’s data will be refreshed, in seconds. Default: 10 seconds.
• List of fields to show in the table - List of columns to be shown in list of backup policy table. By default all columns are visible.
